Our Mission

Our mission is to spread the Christian teachings based on the Holy Scriptures, in a manner accessible to everyone, everywhere in order to save the soul and to live a genuine Christian life for the benefit of the peoples. The variety of messages expressed in this way will be amplified from time to time, depending on the possibilities we will have and the requirement of the audience that follows us. We want to address biblical themes that meet our spiritual needs.

Affiliation with Church of God

Philadelphia Romanian Church is affiliated with the Church of God, an Evangelical-Pentecostal Church represented in most countries around the world, with international offices in Cleveland, Tennessee. The Church of God is an active member of the National Association of Evangelicals and the Pentecostal & Charismatic Churches of North America.

Deceleration of Faith

Philadelphia's long-term ministry-focused aspirations are:
To fulfill the great commission (Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-18);
To grow our church body (Acts 2:42,46-47);
To educate and train all members of our church body to do God's Kingdom work (Eph. 4:12,13);
To plant and grow new churches (Acts 16:5);
To broaden and strengthen our community outreach (Matt. 25:34-40);
To strengthen and expand our world missions commitment (Acts 1:8);
To strengthen our focus on corporate prayer, intercession, worship and praise (1 Tim. 2:1-4, Psalm 150);

and, To provide fellowship opportunities for the entire church body (Heb.10:25).

About Philadelphia Romanian Church of God

Our church strive to meet to the needs of the people worldwide. We are here to follow God’s will commanding: “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16: 15, 16).

Our vision is to preach the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to everyone, to create them an opportunity of salvation. At the same time, our final goal is to enroll new disciples into God’s everlasting deliverance plan.

God has put in our hearts sensitiveness for the youth generation. We dedicate special attention to the youth programs by creating English and Romanian services. We believe that God wants to rise up young and old to work effectively for the advancement of His Kingdom.

We want to give ourselves fully to the preaching of the Word, to prayer, and disciplining. Please be a part and join us in any way God leads you so that together we can better fulfill the Call of God.

Everybody who believes can serve God; they are welcome to get involved in our ministry! God does not have unemployed workers; “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37). Do you want to get involved in this harvest?
